RC Nautique pics

Unfortunately, only one short day for me, but quite action packed!

I'm sure the rest in the D90 group will enjoy seeing the fun (and trouble) the guys got into.

Hopefully, the guys have figured out how to get Mike's truck working and the JB weld has set on Charles diff cover, and Trevor-Smurf got his groove back...

Ken, looks like I missed out once again... Mud hole doesn't look as deep as the last time we were there though..

I'm thinking Trevor is now known as Handy Smurf.

Jimmy, what was the verdict on Mike's truck?

Oh, and as for color... I tried to race through every mud puddle just so I wouldn't looked Clean Smurf. Guess I should have just taken a bucket o' mud and dumped it on the truck.

Randy, we're looking forward to christening your truck. Maybe we could do a run after the new year and get the NE guys to come back down. Will Pete be done with the rock crawler by then?

Trevor looks like he got lost in some sort of Blair Witch III project or his disco did????

Mike Never has any luck but he always makes it home some how.

Ken, that would be cool. I think Pete will be done by the Holidays with his KRAWLER ......

IT will kill me when it goes through the first mud hole. Ken you saw how clean it was in the garage. I even put a blanket on it at night...lol

Jeez ken even I got some mud on the exploder I parked at the camp site. All in all it was a very expensive trip. Two diffs holed,a track rod bent, and Mike's engine. Then there were the 3 tires the were de-beaded.

Oh yeah. Who has pics of the helos circling then buzzing at tree top level?

First off, THANK YOU Dave for towing my 90 home! I am hoping that my repairs won't be too much $$$$$. We saw one of those propellers that fit into your hitch on the way home and everyone agreed I need one. The water wasn't as deep but the mud was, and I drove through the ruts and got stuck, again, but Trevor mastered the hole and made it through by hanging a little more to the left (left when looking at the pics right if you were in my driver seat). I would post pics but my camera batteries were both dead so I have no pics. I think Zach got more mud on himself then Ken did on his 90. Oh did anyone get pics of my Friday afternoon wheely?

Had a great time even if it was a little cold out at night, We need to do a New England D-90 trip, my 90 only breaks when it is more then 100 miles from home.

I think we were all diving for cover as you pulled your wheely. What we needed was a video of it to capture it in all its glory.

No problem Mike, besides, I was one of the guys egging you into the hole in the first place, so it was the least I could do !

I can't wait til next time, it was really a good time. Ken, how you liking the MD springs? I second the New England D-90 trip, let's do it in Dec or Jan and find some snow!

I was only able to get one picture of the helios. That was cool, though. Wonder who , or what , they were?
Handy Smurf meets the Blair Witch project and rides the Nautilus with Capt. Nemo.

Made it home to Andrea's, but almost didn't make it back to the shop on Monday morning. Got some weird driveability problem. 3 complete shutdown's of the engine in heavy I83 traffic. Fortunately able to drift off and wait for a restart. All I need is time to look at it now!

I enjoyed wheling with you guys on Friday. Wished I could have stayed for the whole weekend.
I managed to squeek buy with only $40 in repairs to an exhaust pipe. Not too bad.

I knew I'd catch sh$t for not being dirty enough. You guys keep that up and my feelings are going to get hurt. haha

Curran, sorry to have missed you on the Fri trip, but glad to see you on the road on Sunday!

Dave, what a great stroke of luck for both of us on the springs. I like 'em. We're all getting pretty good at field maintenance. I haven't had the time to look at the truck and see if it's leveled out, but I'll turn to the spacers next. Gonna do some research on the VDO gauges, too, unless you have the part numbers handy.

I don't have the numbers handy, but I got them all at www.egauges.com. I think the temp sensor was the only thing that was a little unclear at first... There is some info on the FAQ on this site that I think details it. I know I had to get a little multipack of adaptors for the sender (SunPro, from Autozone), because I don't think they sell the direct fit VDO sender anymore. I'll try to find out which one I bought and let you know.

Randy,

I'm not sure I can't find it in my records, but I'll look at egauges.com and see if I can tell which one it was that I ordered.

great pics fellas. I wish I had of been there. The last time I went wheeling with Dave, his truck still looked new. My how things have changed!

Dave, your truck is turning into a dirtier whore than mine ever thought about being. Remember how clean it was when we went to Jacksonville to get it? LOL
