Mention Rausch Creek at the Hampton and the rate is $79.00 a night. They have some room left.

I'm driving up Friday evening. Should be in Pine Hollow by 10pm. Wheel Saturday and Sunday. When we get a little closer to the 21st, and we see who all is planning on coming, we can figure out when and where we'll meet. Probably split into groups at the park, then maybe meet somewhere for dinner that evening.

Looks like I have the ok to go for Sat. Like jefhuf asked - what time are people meeting on Sat? I was going to leave NJ in the morning - drive to RC - ride trail - then drive back home.

no no, if you get your ass to meet at 10 am, even if we stop for lunch, we will be there no later than 2-2:30

------ Follow up post added May 11th, 2011 03:53 PM ------

I think 9:30-10:00 would be a nice starting so those coming for the day can make it comfortably

Thoughts?

Tami and I will be staying at the Hampton, along with Frank and Kelly from Long Island. We all plan to arrive about the same time Friday night, about 10 or 11p.m.

Let's say 9am at Raush Creek, that way if someone is running late it does not kill the day and we can still get on the trails by 10am.

How about dinner as a group in Pine Grove?

Can anyone remember what the crap was they pulled on us a few years back at the RotR? Iirc they charged some people extra for showing up after hours, then tacked on a fee for the pavilion use after the fact.

Dana, you paying the pavilion fee?

charles

First post updated with details per Dan's request.

Can someone confirm Dana has covered the issue with fees at echo valley properly so we don't get surprised like last time? I have been convinced I need to camp there with everyone else.

It is 15 dollars per camp spot that covers the use of the Pavilon, but not opening of the the restrooms there, we will have to walk to the other rest rooms, Also everyone is responsible for policing up the area when we leave. That is assuming everyone would like to keep using that campground. It is nice that it is close and we can camp as a group. In stead of all spread out. I had to do some sweet talking. and tell we would leave it in the shape that we found it. Lets not disappoint them. I told them I would be responsible, So If things are not right I'll catch Hell, And then you'll all catch it too. If you see something that not right fix it even if it's not yours. We wnat them to want the Land Rover Wheelers to come back.

Dana,

What would it take for them to open the rest rooms for us?

Maybe it makes sense to add few $$
