Trevor, I told Bruce we were 15 trucks all together. I'm figuring on leaving DC area at about 7 or so. 3 1/2 hour drive (including stick throwing and toilet breaks). Hoping to meet Mike and anyone else to hit the trails by noon on Fri.

Were you bringing just Rovers or some XTerras coming along?

No-no-no, The x-terrors are scheduled to be there as well! My group count included Tyler Kinghorn and Trevor Combs.
Many are similary equipped so breaking up into smaller groups would work out perfectly. Especially if we end up with a few stock or mild rigs. Man, this trip is all we are talking about in the shop. Is that sad?

If I recall, was not the Xterra group at Paragon the last time we got together? Some good looking Xterra I say at the station the last day.

There were more than a few at the gas station and even though they were driving Japanese vehicles, there seemed to be something familiar about the people and the vehicles.
know what i mean?

Hey if there is traffic I think you should be able to find an alternative rout that may involve 4 low. I know on the way back from 03 MAR we thought about fallowing some power-lines as a shortcut past the traffic, but one of the guys was towing a small pop-up camper with 24" tires.

So is anyone familiar with the park?

Leave it to Hippert... one of the few guys for whom a power-line road is faster than the freeway.

I just was wondering if it was going to be the first time for everyone or if someone new the stomping ground a little, so there would be a little less of a learning curve when we got there.

Ken, you were there, remember we passed under the highway over pass, then all traffic stopped. I said on the CB we should try the trail to the right, Jimmy said no I have a trailer but no one else disagreed with me.

The trail is always faster even if it takes a couple hours more and you break a few things.

I am going to try to meet up with you guys on Friday by noon. My wife lives near Hershey,( modern marriage; I live near Baltimore) which is only 40 minutes away. We can talk about various trails when we get there.
Can anybody download the maps in color? I can't, so it might be nice to have some.
