It's jury duty week for Donna again, so really the only good day is Friday for me. If you can can promise other females will be there and we won't talk shop all night, I'll try drag Donna along.

I can only promise one other female will be there-but she doesn't tolerate the shop talk but for so long so at least that part I can assist with...

If next week is too soon we can always push to the following week sometime, I think I'm around till the 24th this month.

Can we go to Happy Hour if we didn't go to MAR? Pending baby melt downs, we'll be there . . .

Yes baby's are always a big hit at HH, and will provide some non-MAR discussion .

I'm told this coming Friday is not a good day. How about the following Tuesday or Friday (21st or 24th)?

FWIW, a few of us were looking at meeting up in NOVA on the 16th, schedule pending. Details are sketchy at this point, but are forthcoming. In any case, beer and cigars will be involved.

If anyone is interested, I can PM you details once arrangements have been made.

Either are fine on this end, though if it's too cool out to be on the deck it'll just be me -- the inside's way too smokey for the man-child.

Dan, shoot me a PM when you guys figure it out... If it's not to far away ( like Middleburg or some thing like that ) then I might be able to make it..

As for Jay's, next friday should work for me.. Won't know till later next week though for sure.

Yah, we could try the quarterdeck again. Dan, why not just forego the PMs and post up when your plan has come together?

Hey guys, I'd love to join the crew. Next Friday, 17th, works best for me. Live in NW DC, so prefer it's somwhere inside Beltway, you guys know how much of a pisser traffic can be outside of it. And I won't have my truck for at least a couple of weeks, but when it arrives would love to have you take a look, etc.

I just realized I'm going to be at Uhwarrie on the 24th, so the 17th is probably best for me too. Who's turn is it to call Ken?

And I can bring my Disco, if anyone has a code reader I can learn why the 'service engine' light popped up yesterday.

i'll try to make whatever date is decided.

dan - let us know your plans as well. as much as garrett thinks middleburg is NOVA, it's not. so that might be a bit of a hike for most. anywhere closer and I will try and make it.

I'm out for the 17th. Got plans to drink with my former coworkers that night.

I can't do 24th, plan on heading up to Western MA to pick up the truck that weekend. Don't let me hold things up though, am sure we'll all meet at some point.

ok, jay's is cheap and the food is just barely passable. but the smoke inside really sucks. quarterdeck is ok if you want crabs and live in arlington. otherwise it is crap especially if you have to sit inside. anybody want to scout this location with me? I've been to the one in DC 100's of times but they have since changed owners. probably a touch more expensive but a bit closer to home for land rover owners and not much further geographically for our further afield members. and closer for anyone who lives west of there.

Smoke free is good for many reasons so I'm all for trying other spots that are smoke free.

I'm also happy to host on eat my place.

4p's is ok in Falls Church. You may want to also consider the new Rocklands over on Washington Blvd in Arlington. You can get picnic style tables inside and out and rarely have I seen smokers there.

I've enjoyed dining/drinking at 4P's, it's a pretty cool place. No idea on Rocklands.

I also now realized after reading the calender that I'll be getting my girls that weekend so not sure if I'm going to make the 17th (despite starting the thread)...

Tommy-
I've got a code reader if you need it for your Disco's CEL.
