I left my 90 in Portland in anticipation of going. But I would have to get up there and install my new fuel pump in time. So depending on how things go tomorrow, here in Napa, will determine if I can even attempt it. I'll know mid day mañana.

I'm in, and my buddy Tony will be riding shotgun. I assume 26 will be fine tomorrow but we could go 86 to 35 if we want to be safe.

I am bringing myself and a few local liquid favorites of mine. I think we may need to park in a circle and stretch the tarp.

I'm reading that you all are meeting at Govt. Camp at 2:00, right? And after camping someplace, you are exiting where? Hood River?

2pm Saturday meeting at Rest area at Government Camp.

Go to the east end of Barlow. Find camp somewhere.

Sunday, drive Barlow. Not sure what else beyond that. Exit if I remember of Barlow is up around hood.

Not sure which way we're running Barlow. Westernmost access is near intersection of Hwy 26 and Hwy 35. Easternmost is near town of Wamic. There are a couple if spots in between that you can get in and out and cruise back on 26 depending on where we camp. I don't know where Toby's planned camp site is. It's going to be epic though, I can't wait! See you all tomorrow.

To be clear, I am just a follower. Ryan is leading this little jaunt. I have never been out there at all.

If you have a particular camping spot that is above average, feel free to let us know about it.

Btw, I have an extra seat if someone would like to ride with me.

Paul, I will give you a call on Sunday morning if my phone works up there. i am not sure the plan, but I will let you know what it is as one develops. It would be great to see you. Is there any way that you could join us up on the mountain?

I've been out once, I ran it last year with MJ before he sold his 110 I know of a couple of spots we can discuss, it might depend on how many trucks we have and the depth of the river. Also Paul, I don't think Tony and I are going to be able to get an early enough start to stop in Hood River for lunch.

If I remember correct we start at the east end. There should be good camping with plenty of room. Can't imagine too many people out. But Ryan has the best idea of this. He has done it sever times. I have only been on it twice.

There are a couple spots right at the white river crossing. They are fairly small and it could be cooler in there then the wide open sites at the east end. I figured we would just play it by ear based on how many people show up. Lots of room don't expect too many people but it is the start of spring break.

Cool. River crossing is where I was thinking! But I always love to be introduced to new spots as well 👍 if we're starting at the east end seems like we'd want to drive the trail for a bit before setting up camp so the crossing might be at a good distance down the trail.

The river crossing is fairly close to 216...I was initially thinking of going 5ish miles past and getting into the trees.

I will be at the Government camp rest area on HWY26 At 2pm. I will be on 146.540 my call sign is W7HUN. Is anyone bringing a chainsaw? This early in the year and with the windstorm last weekend there could be a number of down trees on the Barlow.
