Holy smokes. There is a lot of ideas being thrown out. So is this an all day outing? Breakfast, trail, pub and home?

I had thrown out Saturday March 21st as a date for the Hood River/Gorge day trip and I'm happy to adjust that trip according to Doug's suggestions. Doug, will you be able to join us then? My buddy Ray wants to come along and do some photography. I'd say Olallie needs to wait until summer so thats out for now. Someone else needs to set a date and organize the Kells Brew pub meet.

Sorry, March 21st I'll be diving in the Red Sea......But pick the date and go for it. It is important to get it
on the calendar, someone take charge and pick a meet place, and someone pick a route.

A Sunday pub meet to plan the event is a good way to get to know one another a bit and hash out details for the "Gorge"ous Excursion! Manimal's on point for the aforementioned day trip and can plan the route or take suggestions over drinks! Pub meet Sunday, March 8th late afternoon? Close enough to the "Gorge"ous event and not too soon as to already have plans. Any takers?

Sadly Sunday late afternoon won't work for me because it is so far from home. But I'll try...

Yes. The 8th. We could do it on a prior Sunday, but it sound like its the day that is the issue with your distance from home, not the date. We could make it a Saturday if you would like as it sound like we won't have more than ten trucks (Kells' lot limit) coming to the pub meet. Sundays just allow for more parking with the bank's lot. It's arbitrary at this point, but it would be a good idea to start hardening the date.

Sounds good Mason! You talking about the planning/drinking meet or the drive down the Gorge?

If you guys would allow a mere RRC along I would love to meet some more Rover people. I live out in White Salmon so the Hood River gathering would be perfect. You guys could come across the bridge to Everybody's Brewing up here in White Salmon for a less touristy location. It has good angle in on street parking out in front depending on time of day.

I would be interested where ever the final destination is.

thanks
Craig

Hey, Craig.

So we are meeting before hand to figure out the meeting? Cool. More beer that way.

Yup! First meet is for show! The next is for go! We need a chance to first see who's who, and then figure out what to do.

You're absolutely welcome Craig! I've always wanted to check out Everybody's Brewing. I always crack up with when I see their bumper stickers (Drink Everybody's Beer). So much good stuff down in HR in terms of breweries. Double Mountain, Full Sail, Pfriem, Everybody's...
