About a week ago. 2pm.

I do not have a chainsaw. It's at the top of my list after I finish my engine swap. But that doesn't help us tomorrow...

I mentioned chainsaw a few days ago. I see how it is. I feel loved. My call sign KE7SDV. Will be caravanning with Ryan on the way there.

2PM. It as mentioned and accepted by most to allow more travel time and camp set up in daylight.

Don't forget Go Pros's, or as Ryan coined "Stop/Go Pro/stop.

I bought a HAM but missed the class and test due to some miscommunication... again. So I'll just be a creepy lurker listening in. But you can refer to us as Team RamRod.

Anthony, hang in there just a few more hours buddy, Tony and I will bring more love than you might be comfortable with.

Careful how you tease. I have the grand hotel for a tent so lots of room for a party. Who's got the disco ball?

I've got a chainsaw you guys could borrow -- a bit on the dull side, but it would get the job done.

Let me know, I'll be home all day. If any of you are coming out of Portland, I'm only a 2 mile detour from your route to Govt. Camp.

I'm out! Damn it!

I've pussed out. I'm still in Napa! I just couldn't get out of here today. My truck is standing by in Portland just waiting! Ugh.

My fuel pump would have made me a variable/liability anyways. I don't think I would have had time to install it for Saturday and would have just brought my tools. Not what anyone would have wanted to help me do in the field!

The weather looks like it's going to stabilize too! Thank God! You'll have some mud fun for sure, but hopefully ( and it looks like it) no rain! ;-) You guys are going to have a blast! Take some pics so that you can remember what happens tomorrow night! ;-) I can't wait to see the stop/go pro/stop video! Lol

Enjoy!

Oh man, that's too bad. Trail fixes are half the fun... well as long as its someone else's truck that breaks.

Toby, Tony and I will be leaving Lombard and Penninsular about 11:00am in search of a Trader Joes or some such.

You guys are seriously hitting it just right. Accuweather has a dry gap in the weather for Saturday afternoon through Sunday evening! A good time will be had! I'm bummed, but I look forward to hearing the tale!

Toby:

Not knowing where people are coming from we could meet at the Fred Meyer in sandy around 12:30-1 then head up to join the rest of the group at the rest area.

We did not get a flight out so my Spring break plans have changed. I can't make camping tonight but give me a ring when you hit Hood River tomorrow. I will be around and would love to meet up. Toby has my number. I will of course try and convince you to come across the big bad bridge to the better side of the Gorge in White Salmon.

Have a great trip and hope to see you Sunday.

Craig

A bit late to be bringing this up but are the out of towners going to need a NW Forest pass or something like that? Mine expired so I'm going to stop in Zigg Zagg and get a new one. I could pick up extras if anyone needs something.

I have an interagency military pass, so that should work if it's needed.

What's the firewood situation?

So we just finished unloading at the hotel.... it was a great time! I am sure some will have pictures or video of the crazy winchfest that ensued!
