PCRC Snow Run - Tillamook Forest

Doug is organizing a snow run in the Tillamook Forest this Sunday January 10th. It's described as "for the adventurous and not too sane" and knowing Doug that's probably accurate.

Who's in?

You should come along regardless. Great way to put your 110 to the test!

Not the type of test I want to do with it. I know what it's capable of. I also don't have recovery points on the front and have a feeling that they would need to be used since Doug made that a requirement.

It's snow. You're not going to break anything. You've got a week to install recovery points.

Put some Jate rings in the frame and call it a day. Takes 10 minutes.

Some Photos

Here are some photos from the snow run. We had a great turn-out of 16 trucks. The local jeep club (Jolly Jeepers) whom I refer to as Jeepers Creepers was also invited. The weather was fantastic. We headed up to Triangulation Point in the Tillamook Forest. Only 6 trucks made it all the way. Great views from the top. It was great to see everyone and chat as always. 'til next time!

How does the 90 behave with the RTT? What are your driving impressions set up that way?Noticeable that is is up there? Is the power degradation huge or slight? I have both a 90 and an AirTop. Just wondering what to expect with it mounted. And how do you have it mounted, where did you get the gutter extensions.
