Thats the weekend after I get back from Myrtle Beach...... No guarantees but I'll try to get yet more time off to drive down. Jimmy, I'm assuming you would be driving down Friday sometime (or Thurs even)?

Me too!
I've got my shop up and running and with everything that goes on with renovating an old building, I'm sure I'll be ready for a break!
CVC-will you have a Rover or are you looking for a seat? Can you ride in a Disco?

I guess I need to get your CB antenna back Trevor. I'm working that day so can't make it.

I forgot about the antenna! How was the trip to the beach? That weekend at Rausch, I broke a tie rod end at the taper, bent 2 other tie rod ends, mangled a RTE tie rod (still not quite like Eric!), broke the winch line not once, but twice and generally had a great time doing it. I'm hoping to get it all back together for the Thursday Roversclub trip to Paragon.

The trip down was so long. I managed to listen to the 500 on XM for almost the entire trip. 7 hours is a long time to be in a 90. On the plus side I think I got better mileage somehow. D'oh i forgot about the trip thursday. Can't make it sadly.

That what everyone else is doing? Just trying to get the info for when the wife asks I don't give her the "I don't know" blank look.. Guess I'll wait till it gets closer to the date before I ask so that all the plans are worked out.

I have sat through the video and they marked me off on a list, but I really don't know how I would determine my "status" as a guide! the video isn't very long and I have heard that they make everyone watch it anyway.
I'm going to try to make it up Friday night. I have to be outside of Baltimore for a 4pm meeting, drive the 90 miles home, pick up the dog and be on my way. Should be in to Red Ridge by 9pm.

I think I can make it, I have been "certified" (well I didn't watch the video or anything they just said I was ) Last I recall amping at Red Ridge was around $10 a night, maybe more now? Paragon had an entrance fee of $35 a day, you also need a flag $5. If Chris is going he knows the place very well, but I know how to make it back to the entrance when we get lost, getting to a trail,,, well we won't go there now.
