Thanks Rick. You have the forum cred to organize this so please do take the lead. I'm assuming you still have Roseann's email address. if not, i'll forward it to you.

Greenbull and I attended West and East last year, and East will grow over time. The East staff is mostly local so for many, it's their first time. i also think alot of vendors are waiting to see attendance before investing in the commitment, particularly since many overland focused vendors are out West.

I did let Roseann and Jonathan know about Mar early on last year, but they are also deconflicting with many other marque groups across the mid-atlantic.

I'm looking forward to spending that time around the fire with a cigar and bottle of rum. But there may be a couple yota guys mixed in with my crowd.

I love expo because my goal is to cross borders, and get alot out of the classes and the vendors. I learned alot and made several changes to my setup from what I learned and saw last year. When I go to the Land Rover events, I go for the fellowship. Driving around a farm doesn't do it for me. That said, in another year or two, Ill probably go to MAR again..for the fellowship.

Besides, if for no other reason, I want to go so I can ask Mr. Davis if his adapter is still available when he shows up.

We had a good time last year. I guess its nice to be green because you just don't know any better!

This year, we'll be camping with the cool kids now that we have the defender.

Quick update:
I have about 30 confirmed. I have asked for the same spot as last year.....by the tree ...but not as big an area. I am also asking if they can mow this time around.
I plan on being there Thursday as soon as the gates open to stake our claim.

I'm planning on being up there on Thursday shortly after noon as well - this year I'm bringing the "big" trailer.

I'm signed up for the full experience - really enjoyed the classes last year but I'm not going to sign up for as many as I did last time - need more time to socialize and tour the campground to check out everybody's rigs.

Did you ever end up selling the small trailer? That thing was awesome.

Well I will be there so you should probably cook a lot... And if the lines at the food trucks last year are any indication of what we can expect this year... Well you won't be short on company!

There was a 130 ambulance body that was for sale here a while back. Would make for an awesome food truck.
