Ohiopyle

I know it has been discussed, but my searching is not leading me any where.
Is there anywhere to off raod in Ohioplye besides Nemoclin woods. I am going white water rafting this weekend and figured I would try and get the Defender dirty.

I have never been, but I have been told of a couple of places in southern Ohio. The most popular is Yellow Creek (Wellsville) which is just south of East Liverpool. E-mail me if you want directions.

There are actually places in West Virginia that are shorter drives (for me) than southern Ohio.

I use to spend a good portion of my summers in Ohiopyle on the Yough. I've never heard of any wheeling near it.

Tons of wheeling near Ohiopyle.

If you get an officail Governmetn Topo map of the area and check out the "Jeep trails" on it. A lot of them are still open. Most of the wheeling is in nearby Dunbar and Connellsville. Decent rock climbing too, though usually crowded.

check out the pictures on http://www.fplrg.org/events.htm
