Wow I used to live there too, in the Half Moon Bay condos next to the marina there. That park on the river is very nice. And there is a great local restaurant, Umami Cafe, too. Croton is nice.

Funny. Umami is actually maybe my least favorite restaurant now. Honey's (now called the Tavern at Croton Landing), Hopscotch, and Ocean House are all standouts. Plus the green growler for great craft beers. Croton has come a long way in the last couple of years.

Hahaha, that was me. My clutch gave up on me. I need a new clutch slate. I'm going to buy one from Rovers North tomorrow. It should be about $40 the most.

I'd be up for a meetup in Croton. Could probably wrangle the rest of the SW CT guys as well.

Fair.

I'll make it next week or the week after.

Promise. There is a member of the community we need (or at least I) need to knock one back for regardless.

Given the shenanigans at the NOVA meetup ... I thought i remind people about the super popular NYC Meetup.

We don't have issues with getting over charged at NYC Meetup since we stopped going to Felix 'happy hour'

The food is awesome and very fairly priced. Venezuelan street food sounds sketchy but is really good! It is served on sections of skateboard tops though (with a nice cut out to hold dipping sauce ).

We can take Lucian into the bar most weeks ... he's one of the members 'licensed' emotional support dogs ... Nothing and mean NOTHING attracts the young ladies better than a husky gently howling!

Every other week we have a drinks promotion so we end up with free shots and swag. Added to that it takes place every week ...

So heads up ... ask your wives / significant others for a pass and jump on the L-train and pop along next week!

I think you need to start a Brooklyn meetup thread for the BBC crowd.
