So that's one vote

It's a residential neighborhood. The parking would be on street but there is hardly any traffic or cars parked on the street. There wouldn't be a problem parking several trucks. Can fit around 6 trucks in the driveway

For a group picture we could park all the trucks in front of the street on an angle in front of the house.

My street, Oxford Blvd, ends in North Ave. I'm on the corner. So it shouldn't be hard to plan parking and photo.

I have two gas grills and plenty of yard space.

Anyway, that's my sales pitch and my offer.

In terms of setting a date, maybe we can start throwing dates around.

Sorry. That was in my earlier post where I floated the idea of a BBQ at my place in Garden City. (Long Island)

Earlier I was wondering if we could have a big BBQ in one of the parks. It seems that no one is willing for a BBQ meet up.

Driving around over the weekend in our new area and stumbled upon Croton-on-the-Hudson, and I thought, what a beautiful area. The Hudson river is so much more scenic a little further north of NYC. They have nice picnic/bbq area next to a massive parking lot right on the edge of the river. Lot's of that type of stuff by Cornwall as well.

There is a very expensive barbecue on the roof of my building that we could use.

That's where I live. I could totally set a bbq up in one of the parks on the river or access the yacht club.

It's a pretty great place to live.

Glenn, let me know if you come thru here again.

Plenty of parking at the BBC HQ. The side of the street with only one car on it has parking after six (took the photo around seven). There are already three Disco's on the other side of the street, but for some reason one of them has **** written on the hood. You guys wouldn't know anything about that would you?

Drinks are reasonable the crowd was so, so but I didn't pay much attention to anyone other than our group. I had a good time with good people.

OK so that was a nice experiment! All NYC meetups for which we want more than five people to show up will be within NYC proper from now on. I'll schedule something after my return from my honeymoon (heading out to France then Italy next week through the last week of April).

Who says we want more than 5 people ... I think we'd prefer quality not quantity! ;-)

Anyway new NYC meetups will be occurring in London this summer as they have to be a few blocks from where I'm staying!
