NYC Meetup and NYC Boost Club are different entities ... the fact that people don't know this highlights why their views on boundaries / membership and attendance aren't relevant.

NYC Meetup IS moving HQ... NYC Boost Club members are welcome to attend as is anyone else!

Sounds like a Manhattan Meetup group is being formed ...

indeed! Queens all the way

Voting numbers count on how many Land Rovers you actually own.

Dan - 3 votes
Jason - 1 vote
Josh - 1/2 vote (since his truck doesn't want to run)
Ronnie - 1 vote

Good point but I think votes should reflect how many Rovers you have owned in your lifetime to reflect your total commitment. In that case:

Dan - 30 votes
Jason - 1 vote
Josh - 1/2 vote (since his truck doesn't want to run)
Ronnie - 2 votes
Keith - 2 votes

Sound good?

keith, apparently I need to hire a better PR firm. Put me down for 1. And I plan on running for the open board seat. "I'm scott, and I approve this message"

I guess the NYC Boost club is actually " The Manhattan Boost Club". I was just suggesting that every month we rotate meet ups within the 5 boroughs. At least every 4 months we could get to view 7-10 Defenders. Maybe a meet up on the weekends at Gateway off the Belt Parkway. PLENTY of parking with good photo opts.

It looks like we're going to have to start a new NYC and Outer Counties Defender Club. Applications and Board selections will start this summer.

I'm a Freemason therefore I hold the gavel and sit in the East during the meet ups. Not a voting station. Just filled by the brother with lodge experience (smile).

With the traffic I'm sure we've all experienced on the Staten Island Expressway at one time or another, does short term resident count?
