What's the name of the place? Our usual spots were picked because of the ease of parking, the atmosphere, drink choices, food options, and price.

And don't forget that they are picked do to it being walking distance to some peoples house/flat. We need to rotate from borough to borough. Brooklyn and Queens have plenty of parking. ------> Gateway or Williamsburg.

Just need to grab your drinks at the bar and bring to the table.

Just an option.
Thursday I got happy hour extended till 8pm. I also have a table for 8 by the windows facing W Broadway, managers name is Thea ( she's great ) just say you're with Ronnie and you'll be seated.

Best so there isn't a discrepancy simply walk to the bar and pickup your drinks during the 5-8pm happy hour.

LI guys, your expected to be in attendance.

I had actually picked the original bar a few years ago, because it was an old haunt of mine and I knew that no one ever parked at the front of it so it would be good for Defenders. It just so happened that Jason lived a 2 blocks away! Haha

And the HH's are always in NYC because the NYC guys always put them together. Now that Jason is also living in Brooklyn you guys should start a new Brooklyn happy hour thread and organize something for us NYC guys to attend.

Jason you're still a chair member of the famous and highly desired Manhattan defender chapter. Regardless of where you live you'll now need to simply commute. Thank you.

I thought NYC Boost Club rules stipulate that all voting members must satisfy the residency (in Manhattan proper) requirement?

Very good point. One chair member left NYC proper, but another member moved into NYC, so Jason's chair position may soon be replaced.

I've heard you have to go through a metal detector first before you can enter a bar in Brooklyn. Is that true?

Correct, Jason is the only member in this specific chapter to be exempt from this country wide residency rule.

If by chance Jason starts missing meetings on the Manhattan side he will loose his bi-borough privilege.
