Rules of NYC meetup as defined by the constitution created by the thread founder specify official NYC meet ups have to be walking distance from my apartment. Currently I reside in tribeca ...

Coincidently, my business (a bike shop) just opened a new location in Hell's Kitchen (45th & 11th ave) and we're having a grand opening event on Thursday the 19th (8-10p). The shop is part of the Gotham West Market and food & beer will be provided by the Cannibal (Beer & Butcher). The food's free, the beer's free, there's a bar if you want something else, and parking is (usually) available (my Series will be parked in front) On 11th Ave. Everybody's welcome, even if you hate bikes

What's the name of the shop? I'll check it out next time I'm in town. I'll likely be moving up there this summer and will need a new bike shop.

NYC Velo - we opened on 2nd ave & 4th street in 2005, and @ the Gotham West Market (45th & 11th) last week. We are also involved with Hastings Velo in Hasting-on-Hudson in Westchester county. Def stop by when you're around!

Free food and parking. What more can a man ask for? I'll be there. I hope some other D90 crew members would be able to make it. Josh, ease come and inspect my truck.

So I'm staying at the Hudson on 58th, near Broadway Sunday thru Wednesday, then I'm out in New Rochelle for Wednesday…

I have meetings and a couple of Super Bowl site survey's, but will be free in the evenings...
