NY: Feb 3...

testing the waters....anyone interested in an informal get together?

located on newly aquired private property about an hour North of Albany. about 6" of snow on the ground now....more to come...very rugged terrain, no real trails cut yet other than the old skidder trail that circles the property, but with the frozen ground and no fear of tearing everything up...just about anything is fair game. body damage probable, the more set up your rig...the more fun you will have...unless your purpose in life is to drag winch cable...

there will be an old log cabin with a fireplace to get in out of the cold...

Thanks, I'm waiting on some parts, if they make it this week I will be able to drive down.

Thanks for the info on lodging, don't worry too much about specific names.

I should be able to confirm by next wednesday

Eric

Got a sneak peak of the property today. Nice possibilities, and the frozen stream bed we partially cleared today is going to be fun. The log cabin/warming hut is a nice touch.
