Nova Scotia Cabot Trail?

Thinking this looks like a cool trip. Ferry over from Maine and take a week to drive the loop and come back home via mainland (up and over).

Anyone done this?

Many times- and it is gorgeous! Highly suggest the next ferry north up to Newfoundland to Gros Morne Park...

Did it in 2008 or 09 and really enjoyed it. Nice cabins for rent at the most northern tip and there is some light off roading up there on a horse trail. Let me see if I can find some photos.

Did it 5-6 years ago towing a vintage Scotty trailer. We skipped the ferry and just drove and had an awesome trip! I think we took a week with the non ferry route and think the trail was 2-3 days max so a week might be a bit long but to each their own. We stayed either in campgrounds (blah) or just any back road we could find which was great.
