he he , I don't mind the Tequila, the Jager or the Rum..but that gayish mint is nasty

In a true traditional Italian way I will start celebrating Thursday with Sambuca shots

Ok, to make the birthday boys happy, I say we meet at Kilroys.

I'll buy you two drinks. If you really want to get sloshed I can play designated driver and you can crash at my place.

I love C&W but they do get a little crowded as it's not the biggest bar...they also opened another one in Herndon by the clocktower

"Whatchoo talking about..."

That whole conversation made me laugh - the money and the response.

It looks like my wife is working that night which counts me out as I will have to assume Daddy-Day-Care-Duty. I am quite disappointed becasue I wanted to brag about how cool my truck was at Rausch.

I will have to brag virtually....

My Rock Slider shows evidence of at least one heavy hit / scrape. The scrape goes through the galvy - this will need some sort of band-aid to protect from future rust.

My rear corner got folded in a little - I have not tried to pull that back out yet.

My transmission cross member took a helluva bang and folded it back several inches. That is going to take significant surgery to fix - if I want to bother (out of sight - out of mind).

The final photo is after I pulled all my seats out and started cleaning. You can see the water / mud intrusion level.

Yeah your truck (and you) did great at Rausch. Don't worry about the scrapes. I can understand why you don't want to bring your daughter to HH

There is a work up if your interested on the Croc website for doing up a tranny cross member. If the same family still owns Kilroys in Springfield then I use to work for his brother Owen who ran the Kilroys in Woodbridge. He would bang pots and pans when someone sang horribly on karaoke night.

re: my cross member... I am thinking this is a post MAR work project. What is on there is bent all to hell but still attached and functional so I do not want to risk starting a (another) major porject before MAR.

At the moment, I am getting my exhaust manifolds trued (they were warped .005 out) and some rusted / stripped studs pulled and replaced. I hope to get all that reinstalled and pulled up tight before September inspection is due. (I had a small exhuast leak at the manifold that has been needing fixing for months.) I am also working to get my front diff pinion flange / oil seal replaced (parts are on order). Then I need to tear back into my parking brake which I think has been rendered useless by PA mud - probably just needs a clean out and reassemble.

So that is already enough to do before MAR.

Does anyone coming to the next HH have a non ATT branded smartphone that is GSM based (ie uses a sim card)? I want to do a simple (harmless to your phone) test to see if ATT can detect it's a smart phone using my daughters non-data plan sim card like they can with iphones (because they know all the IEMI numbers). I don't want to pay $15/month for data they don't need and both my kids need new phones, and of course want ones that ATT requires data plans for.

thanks,
charles
