Well, if the NOVA HH ever jumps the river, then the Brit corner of Wheaton MD is my vote. One Scottish bar (Royal Mile) across from an Irish (Limerick Pub) bar across from a big parking lot and just a block from a Metro stop.

Vienna Inn in would be a great place to have it, but no idea if they would have the room to support us all there.

http://www.viennainn.com/

if you haven't been there, the place seems to burn down once every 15-20 years or so, they just clean up the soot and water damage and continue serving. inside is kind of small though.

I love the Vienna Inn...totally forgot about it, but you're right that would be a great option. Only issue may be getting there during rush hour, but worth the trip. Plus, their chili dogs rock.

Goose - I was thinking rush hour for folks like you (not me)...that side of the beltway gets pretty jammed up, whereas Jay's you may have been doing a reverse-commute thing depending on your route.
