Wow, a record set! 4 new faces tonight. Sorry all you regulars missed us. Maybe next month we'll have a ton of people.

Likewise. We like your truck too. Probably shouldn't mention the thing about white trucks tho...

What just to see puking adults? None of us of course.

Yes, he was there, so I guess that counts as an unofficial fifth new face. Even tho his face ain't all that new.

Just moved to DC - I'm looking forward to crashing the next one.
Is there a mainstream VA/MD/DC Rover group or is it pretty much this forum?
I am looking for people to go wheeling with this spring.
Thx

PS I don't have a D90... yet

Come on up to Rausch Creek March 5-7 with me!

Woody, no D90 means you can't attend our meetings sorry....

Just kidding. Our happy hour is just an informal gathering of rover enthusiasts. Check out http://roav.org/ if you want to join a formal regional club. If you want to join a non-denominational wheeling club, I recommend the club I belong to, OCC (http://offcambercrawlers.com)

I can pull a day/half day trip but that's about it these days. What about a run out to GW?

Yup I am sure a GWNF trip can be arranged. I have 2 non-rover friends wanting to take a trip down there too. I can't till late march maybe, but it might be fun to go sooner while there is still snow on the ground down there (i assume).

I am one of the new faces that showed up at the happy hour. I have never been off roading in my defender, but if you do schedule a trip I would like to come along and learn a few things while testing out my truck.

I need to sort the brakes out, but count me in for a day trip. gas-man, there are a good number of local people that are good, conscientious wheelers and would be good to learn from.

wiring harness>underhood insulation pad>that dropped down onto the injector spill rails>which pumped diesel onto the fire.

It was full on ugly when I opened the hood- bystander called the fire dept fortunately. Wiring harness is not the normal 300 tdi, its the one with integral alarm system....found one, its on its way along with the injector returns. Seemingly no paint damage due to extremely quick reaction time. Once those items are restored I can try to start it and see what else may be involved. Reduced to driving the 110 double cab for now.
