Holy crap, I've created a monster. Well, let's talk details at the next HH, but I've pretty much gotta get the SIG556 before we put this thing together!

Doug - how many acres do you have?

Doug, I think we may have to take you up on this! Though I'll have to get some solo practice so Trey doesn't heckle me. We may have to setup a rendezvous down in Concord.

We'll talk more on Thurs about the 556. Trust me, I dig the Bushmaster ACR, my problem is what is friggin' NY compliant - I don't think the ACR is. Plus putting a nice Vortex sight on the DMR with the long barrel would be a little better suited for target I think. Check it out: http://www.sigsauer.com/Products/Sho...&productid=218

I hate the Sig556 as I think it's too front end heavy, and heavy in general. If I am going to carry a weapon that heavy it better be 7.62.

I'm partial to the FN SCAR which you can now get the civie version, and the M14 DMR, both are being used with great success in Afghanistan.

Blake, got your pm but don't think I am going to make it to the HH...my little boy was born yesterday! I'll take a few lugs if you still have them and have an SWR meter if you don't find someone else. I assume that Charles is coming so I can send it with him if you need it. I just don't have an extra cable for it

I'm pretty sure I'm out this week. My kids are back to school with a new schedule that's going to make Thursdays very hard for me. I'll let you know if I can figure out a way to shirk my responsibilities but at this point I'm a no.

Sorry to go off topic. Does anyone know where I can buy a steering wheel puller that works with a 94 D90? I'd like to buy one locally. I need it as soon as possible. Thanks.

After negotiations with the director of household affairs, I'm upgraded to 80%. Will be able to finalize tonight.

John, the kind you can rent from advance auto etc work iirc. Just make sure the bolts have the right thread.

I like it on Thursdays now. Friday evenings I'm usually spinning wheels for the Eastern Shore.
