Looks like I got oil in it in time. Did an oil change today and put a bottle of Lucas in it. Engine seems happy but there is a leak that will need attention when it is more clement.

Apparently JLR did launch Heritage last year. In fact, they're rebranding it as JLR Classic

Jaguar Land Rover Celebrates a Classic Future

So I guess it's time to check with the stealership on some parts, like HK speaker grilles and seat base covers...

oh man s much as I may need / want them I would really hate to pay dealer prices, $150.00 each may make me think twice of the utility they actually provide vrs the aesthetic.
we will see how it goes at release time.

MY bmws is a pita to get under, but I don't have to do it enough to justify something like this. I got "race ramps" and can at least drive up those and then jack from there if needed.

@russell, good to hear from you. I was beginning to wonder if you'd gone NY, uh soft, on us.

I know what you mean. My BMW sits too low for the ramps I own. When time for BMW service work, I generally go over to the Auto Crafts Center at Ft. Myer and use a lift. Either of our trucks go up on two regular sized sets of ramps, getting them almost as high off the ground (and level) as the mini-lift mentioned, except tires/wheels have to be installed. I do think the mini-lift has its merits, though.

The Motorcycle shop that service my Bike, Atv and such has these for working on ATV, instead of using the old hydraulic tables

so quite , fast and super smooth, hopefully the ones for cars are as sweet as those

Tangentially related (like pretty much this whole thread): anyone know where one can get Rotella T 15w-40 in NOVA without losing one's shirt? Central Tractor used to be my go-to place, but I'm going to go out on a limb and guess there aren't many of those inside the beltway . . .

Yes! A mile from me, and I didn't even think of it--thanks!
