Just dawned on me that I'll be out of town on business next week; will probably make it if it's the 24th, but if it's next week, I'll have to see you guys next month.

So it's not St. Patty's day in Maryland? Is this just a state-by-state thing then? And here I was thinking it was a global holiday where everyone drinks to a coma and then stumbles around like the town drunkard in an old Irish village.

I just realized that I might have missed a sale opportunity......

If you have not been hit just yet, I think I can still get some Girl Scout cookies. Price is still $4 per box this year.

Just as a quick reminder, here is what you could get:
- Trefoils
- Do-Si-Dos
- Samoas
- Rah-Rah Raisins
- Tagalongs
- Thin Mints

this. Kilroy's is a Sports Bar, with Irish-theme/Jimmy Buffet aspirations when its only real appeal is the size of the parking lot, size of the drinks, and size of the "strike zone" on the drunk blonde you're throwing fastballs at.

Nick's is a "Down to Earth Outlet for Casual Seafood" that has no aspirations to attract Irish or aging frat-boy crowd. 3/17 is not even mentioned on their FB page.

But, it is St. Patty's so it could be a crap shoot. last time we went there the crowd was much smaller than any time @ Kilroy's. Also food was better and the view too.

Where exactly are we talking about in MD? I googled up two places that go by "Nick's" in Fell Point.

... or are we just talking in generalities?
