If you want to slum it.

If you want we can do it at my house.. I have a swing set, slide, and play room for the kids, a fire pit and grill for us adults, and I’m not to far from Jay’s. I can go get pretty much what ever folks want to drink. Although, depending on the amount of people, you might need to bring your own camp chair. It’s another option of you all want to. I do have cats and a dog so if you have allergies then take your meds. I also have “corn hole boards” if you want to play. Let me know if you want to do that instead of Jays’s and I’ll Pm everyone my address. Dependant on weather of course.

Eric.

I go frequently and live in Arnold. You are welcome to ride along if you'd like. Its not a long drive home (40 mins)- but cutting through DC during rush hour to get there sucks. Have to admit I like Jays now with the smoking ban.

For DC Metro folks, wanted to post up a piece of property for sale next to our property at Lake Anna.

My neighbors at Lake Anna are retiring to Huntsville, AL and selling their house. This place is directly next to our place at the lake. Wouldn't normally post this up, but the property is in a great location and the huge selling point is it has a very large 3 bay shop with lift, parking pads, etc. Most of his equipment may be negotiable with the sale of the house, including flat bed trailer, couple of boats, tools, etc.

I believe they are looking at getting $650k for it through a realtor, but if realtor can be kept out, around $625k. It is not on the market yet.

Address is 6214 Connie Ln, Mineral, VA, 23117

Google map satellite view shows a great shot of it:
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&sour...h&z=17&iwloc=A

the shop is at the front of the property and the house is on the lake side.

County assessment:
http://www.spotsylvania.va.us/online...OID=A00000136K

House is a good size with good bones, but definitely needs some updating. Roof is new as of last year and I believe owners will give buyers carpet allowance. Location on the lake is great and only about 1.5 hour drive from NOVA, 45 min to Cville, F'burg and Richmond.

Exterior pics of house, shop and property:

Owners weren't around so couldn't get any interior. Middle bay of shop has either a two or four post lift, can't remember. The lake view is westerly, so you get sunset views every day over the water. not bad.

Seriously, how about the 12th?

In all likelihood it will be at Jay's or if you inconsiderate bastards would try say something in Tysons (Chef Geoffs or Clydes).

We went to the Quarterdeck to avoid the smoke at Jays from what I remember, but it's still in Arlington.
