Yep, got the speedometer adjusted yesterday. Still need tap n die for the EGT prob and boost, but should be there. Still working the "running in" procedure, got 35 miles in yesterday so up to 60.

Does anyone have an EAS diagnostic cable for a RRC laying around that they could bring to Happy Hour? The parts (per RWS) I need won't be here for a couple of days and I have a soft-fault to troubleshoot and clear.

Electronic troubleshooting thus far indicates that it's an issue with the air compressor. Would anyone have a spare one laying around that they wouldn't mind parting with?

get hold of Charles Patrick

Yes - new guy Kit - with his Santana, from my neck of the woods will be coming in with me...should be interesting, over beers the other night we established a plan for him to bring in his Santana manual (manuel?) for Pedro or Carlos to interpret for him. We are at a loss on a few things...not the least of which is a transfer case that dare I say none of us have ever seen!!!

BTW - just spoke with bobeck, he will be there, form his CHUCK & DAVE'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE -

Mr Galpin, upload those RTV pictures you have onto your laptop as a slideshow for us...micht keep Tyler from staring at boobies for 5 minutes...

Although it's possible the pump is no good usually the multi pin connector needs to be unplugged and rep lugged a few times and then try it.

no hablo espaņol.....I plan on being there, maybe just maybe with the lwb...needs state emissions and tags.
a little tlc in the inside but drivable . hell we may have early snow on the ground on thursday the way things look.
on a separate note, Im going to regret it later but for now AMS is undergoing a facelift, the bay doors are being moved to the front due the hi rise next to it... I need to move out the little rover stuff I have left.
a zf 22 overhauled with about 1,000 miles on overhaul, the spragg gear {clutch pack housing} decided to go
thus I pulled it out to repair and never got around to doing so... you need to start moving on 1st gear then manually move shifter to d and it runs wonderful until you fully stop again to repeat the task... if you don't come to a full stop it keeps shifting normally. a second (donor) zf 22 which my big 5.0 engine begun to slip.. I saved it just for the repair of the first one... and a 4.6 bosh Short block low mileage about 40 or 50 k miles on it...
i could bring all of this into my apt (heavy stuff) or find it a good home for a reasonable fee.
hate to throw it all out... other minor stuff probably not worth mentioning....
any takers?....

The wedge shape of the lug nut and thread engagement is sufficient, well established.

But, I defer to the expertise of Santa Claus and Dirty Grandpa.

Does somebody in our group have my brake flaring tools? I can't seem to find them and I feel like I loaned them to somebody after Dirty Grandpa returned them.

edit: Nevermind I remembered who has them now.

Patrick I'll bring an EAS cable, but just a loaner - I'll need it back in the relatively near future.

Don't think I'll get any pictures online by tomorrow, but sadly didn't take that many anyway other than at Richards Chassis and the defender celebration. I even forgot to take a picture of Quentin Willson and the BBC film crew that were at the RTV!

But you can see what I did take in person on my phone and Dave and I can spin a yarn or two about our couples trip .
