So is there a HH this week? I'll be in town, but probably won't be able to get up there till 8:30ish due to kiddo sporting events, ensuring they are actually packing clothes for their trip to Abu Dhabi, etc.

Per a recent conversation - LMGTFY. LOL

Damn Jeff, that sucks. This is why I don't exercise - I could hurt myself!

Get well soon.

Out as well. Headed down to Tech Thursday AM to help my daughter pack up stuff and prep for her move to NYC. One out, two boys to go.

Merry Christmas, see you guys next year!

I'm possibly in, but only if someone else will be there. Anyone?

Edit--drrr, hadn't read far enough up the page to see that some folks will be there. I'm in, barring natural disaster, illness, or family emergency.

Steering drop-arm?

Anyone here locally (even if you're not coming to HH) have an old pitman/steering drop-arm they aren't using (ideally an old one where they replaced it with a new unit instead of rebuilding it)?

Was rebuilding mine with a new ball joint, and *somehow* I managed to friggin' bash the "retaining ring" that holds the rubber boot down in place (pretty sure I did it when I was tapping into place the new race for the ball joint).

Anyhow, I know most folks just remove & replace with a new one...so I'm *hoping* that someone that has done so may have kept their old one instead of tossing it out. Shown in the attached pics with a red arrow is the "ring" that I broke, the thought is I can probably gently tap the ring off an old unit and move it over to mine to be back in business.

PS - I'm willing to travel to pick one up, so even if it's not someone going to HH feel free to chime in to help a brother out .
