Pedro, are you going to make your cameo appearance and then bail? How IS the progress on the engine coming??
No appearance this month... Going for 30 minute is not worth the hassle.

What engine?

What seems to be the hold up, are you still waiting for parts or are you going a different route?

This month, we concentrated on quality vs. quantity of HH participants!

Yes it was a very select group. Actually kind of nice to just have 1-2 conversations going at a time and almost always be able to hear...

Agreed. Good meeting you Bill and Joe, and good seeing the others.

As for being able hear the conversations, don't think I've ever seen Kilroys so dead on a Thu night. Normally, it's a zoo outside. Agree with Charles, great meeting new faces.

Ran into a guy named Dan yesterday at Great Falls (Tavern) driving a white '95 NAS 90 and told him about the group. He was interested in joining us. There are so many of these trucks in the area. We all need to be ambassadors when out and about.

What's your technique? I feel like mine (tailing them until they stop) seem to deter them away...

Stopped at a nice little car show down in Mt. Vernon area, right off GW parkway at River Farm this morning. Met two gentlemen who are Rover owners, so I quickly put on my recruiter hat and went to work. Might see them at the next HH. Here is a pic of Steve's 83 DC 110 with 300tdi and galvy frame. Nice truck. Jim was the other guy, but he didn't have his 95 NAS at the show.

Also came across this 69 Morgan project with something very familiar under the hood.

That's a 4.0 out of a Morgan Aero 8. Owner converted it back to carb setup, and put a mild cam in it. Pretty sweet.

Good job, Kent! This method is a bit better than the "stalker" version mentioned earlier!

That truck was built by a forum member, who actually happened to be at URE this past weekend and we were chatting about this rig as I see it all the time here in NoVa.
