Charles stopped by. We found that the RRC rear motor is actually completely different. If anyone else can help him out, please do!

Yeah that was a bummer. Well, I still have a couple of choices

1. Wing it, sit out any storms if needed, or just leave later after the storms
2. Wing it with Jonsey and let the ladies take the LR4 if his rig isn't ready, although my wife doesn't want to drive 2 vehicles.
3. Go get the damn trailer and tow the D90. Jonesy, you guys could ride along if you want still.

I guess I'll decide tomorrow lunchtime.

Briggs I'll probably take you up on the offer, thanks. I'll ping you next week.

Just put a heavy coat of rain X on the windscreen and call it good. You only need to worry about the ride down, the rest of the weekend is supposed to be amazing

If it's really bad, just take a squeegee from a gas station in route and hang your are out the window as needed.

For a guy who is legendary for welding anything back together with a set of jumper cables and old nails found on the trail side, I can't believe you would be sidelined by a wiper motor.

RainX is the plan if I drive it, although my wife isn't quite as enthusiastic as I am. I am considering putting a hook on a short stick so I can hand actuate the wipers if needed

Join my club Charles. I have so little faith in my wipers I now manually intermit them in 20-30 second intervals hopefully keeping them from failing again before I feel like taking them apart for the third time. Sick of taking that damn dash apart and having two screws leftover. RainX is a good friend.

Anyone have an extra CB antenna cable/cord they can bring to HH next week? I had to replace my antenna, and borrowed Huff's SWR meter to tune it...but realized that you need a "second" cable in order to plug the SWR meter in.

I can do it right onsite at HH so don't need to "borrow", just need to use.

Skinny D for the win! I picked the smoother/quieter of the two, replaced the grease and installed it and it works great. Still trying to get used to how fast they move now!

Might as well start this early. Do we want to establish a backup location if kilroy's is unavailable again?

Jays! This at least puts that out there before the inevitable argument about Kate and Dons (or Clate and Dons if Pedro ever was on anymore).
