That place is great, have had nothing but good luck with them. When I had the disco rad done there last year I had him ad a petcock to the base of the radiator to make life easier the next time it's drained. No charge.

yeah yeah yeah, it was there last time.

I went to do a D90 front brake caliper "upgrade" and while chasing a leaky spindle I noticed a missing spindle-cv bearing along with a missing thrust washer. So now I'm waiting on parts to put it back together.....

there were many 4 lettered words exclaimed late last night during the discovery of these missing pieces...

LR double tube side step

Anybody need a DRIVERS side tube door step?

The passenger side step didnt survive the trip posted in the picture. I can bring it tomorrow and give it to anybody that wants it.

Head gaskets, lots and lots of head gaskets.. Feel free to come over and take care of mine.. That or you can buy mine for $2500 and find out for yourself what it takes to keep a Disco on the road.

Hey, anyone local have an OBD2 code reader I can use?

The truck is at the sellers fthers house so I could get it no problem but the seller was not there with the soft top and tonneau covr he was supposed to bring, so I didn't get those. He didn't respond to calls from me or his parents, nor my text messages, so I'm waiting to hear back from him. Hoping he can drop them off today or tomorrow AM so Gustavo can bring, else I'll try get him to ship them.

Cry me a river, brother.

[QUOTE=cgalpin;236468] the guy who's lending you his truck (Jeff)

I take exception to being any issue in your poor planning!

Blake, I'm definitely out for tomorrow but if you do bring the lugnuts just give them to Charles and then I will square up with you if that's cool

No, your flexibility (and your wife's misfortune) were key to making it all work!

I'll do your head gaskets for $500 labor and you buy parts. JUST SAYING if you need some cheap work done, I like doing the HG on these things for some god forsaken reason.

Must have been some serious knee time to get that white 90 in the door Mr C!

I replaced them with rock sliders- I figured somebody might have use for it as they are sort of weak and bust. I'll hang on to it for a bit and then it will find its way into the recycling bin.

haha... I thought the same thing.

But to his defense... he clearly stated: "as much as I'd love to own one of each model my wife would not" He never said owning two of the same model.
