Off topic... are you flying into Leesburg of Dulles?

I am well impressed if you are flying into Leesburg Executive Airport.

You sure did man. Your contribution has been the reason I have been able to make the cables, so many thanks again! Missed seeing you this month.

Pleasure was mine Charles. Good meeting everyone. Charles thanks so much for the cable and the insight into my running issues on my 95 Classic. I'll be putting the cable to good use down this way. Looking forward to next month!

Most likely need to start a new topic, but what would be the interest in doing a tech session/wrenching session on a regular Saturday or Sunday. My shop can handle at least (4) trucks inside at a time...(2) flat stalls and (2) lift stalls....and its got HVAC, decent selection of tools, floor jacks, stands, fridge, etc. You guys could caravan, do a little wrenching grab some eats, do a little more wrenching...maybe do a Cars and Coffee and then come by the shop...whatever...thoughts

Chip...currently in search of a TPS

Great to see some new faces. Ours is arguably the largest regular gathering of Rover enthusiasts in the USA (along with this thread being the longest running, and with nearly 5000 posts, one of, if not the one with the most comments of any Rover-related on any forum). Sometimes it a big gathering, sometimes just two or three, but we haven't missed one in many many years.
A virtual nod to our new waitress. We have burned through a lot of 'em in our time. Every time a new one needs to be briefed on our common habit of leaving en masse for the parking lot, seemingly without paying our tab....she seems far more with it than the last one.
Anyway thanks for coming out in the chill to chill.

YES...Bill - Melanie was certainly worth it! HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY...She said to me she is going to ask her boss to "do" us each month

So long as Goose keeps his opinions on how old she is to himself we should be quite happy

CHIP - I for one love this suggestion...but a warning - we do these, call them Church, mainly in the warmer months - with the ability to do them inside and with lifts!!!!.... well, all I can say is I'M IN

Ray, it's because you left that Shelby quit. Bereft, crestfallen, she was. All the light had gone from her eyes. Sad, really.

Do you get the feeling they were actually waiting for you to leave before it was discussed?

I caught Chip on the way out and gave him a Church overview...told him he'd definitely have interest (and I'd be down absolutely). Seems like a good plan, and would love to checkout his setup regardless -looks like a great shop.
