Chip - pace yourself now...you've got a long drive home. Besides, you don't want to lose all your money at once...

BTW, I was thinking that I might take a drive towards Richmond, a la Buzz n Neds (need an excuse to put some miles on the reborn SWB and get some of the best BBQ in VA), this weekend. I could deliver the Magnaflows in that trip...

Yeah, it's called scroll back and cut and paste. Shit, I took the time to replace all the "I"'s etc to reflect it was yours. Started off being lazy and ended up being more work. LOL

Rovergauge

Charles,

Looking forward to meeting up Thursday.

Any chance you could bring your Rovergauge setup to Happy Hour. I am still having issues with the 3.9 on my truck. Mostly idle issues. No CEL. I have read the ECUmate stuff, info on gomog.com, and other 14CUX specific info. As you know without a communication interface I really can't see whats going on. Hoping as well you were able to make up a cable, thanks for doing this...really looking forward to getting it set up on a laptop. I will be purchasing a new one dedicated to Rovergauge, and (2) programs we use in the shop...Innovate LM1, and WinADL to setup TBI conversion systems.

I will try to get there as close to 4:30-5 as possible...at least most traffic will be traveling south on 95 at that hour.

Also saw you got a little press in the latest Rovers Magazine...good on you...well done!

Pete pleasure meeting you on Saturday, also hope to join us Thursday without the Spice Machine!

Chip

I hate dragging these heavy-ass things around, but if you want them that bad, they're yours. Open wide.

Chip - Great to meet you as well and I gotta say, again, how amazing your shop is.

On the way back, the dealer called and told me my truck was finally ready, so I returned the Spice Girl Rover. My Rangie's now waiting on new shoes (Cooper ST Maxx) and Dr. Z to fix her short circuit. Hopefully she'll be there on Thursday, otherwise, I'll be driving the LWB (definitely NOT the Spice Girl Rover).

Chip, I've got you covered.

Thanks for the reminder about the Rovers Magazine writeup. I knew Zack was doing it but forgot about it. Zack, if you are listening, I would have preferred if you had explained more that it was a group effort spanning the country, but thanks anyway

Ditto - I know it was a small article with not a lot of room...thanks for the writeup Z, but it really was a HUGE amount of donations from a LOT of folks on here...maybe you could follow up next time with more of a writeup of the effort - or something that shows the combined efforts of time, money and donations to the project - which have still not ended.
