Good meeting you Kraig, and good job on pranking Dro.

Brian, sorry we never got a chance to chat (or even meet properly) but you were gone by the time we came out.

I did a drive by at Kilroy's around 1740 off of I495 and Braddock. I didn't see any Land Rovers in the lot as I drove up and down the rows, so I had a doubt that I screwed something up (time or place) and went home to do the kid's homework...I mean help them with their homework.

Now, I am about the worst ground navigator - never had a problem in the sky.

I noticed there was some nasty traffic on the outer loop of the Beltway. I shall strive to make the next one!

Completely off topic but...

Does anyone in the area happen to have a spare starter motor for a 2.5 lying around that I could borrow to test with? My Defender is still dead in my driveway, but I think I've narrowed it down to the starter motor or ignition switch.

Gotta go around the back. There was ~10 trucks lined up behind the shopping center where you can walk in the back of Kilroys....

...in terms of navigating from the air; reminds me of a lot of help pilots that are convinced they landed in the right LZ. Several clicks later on foot I'd usually walk through the correct one.

You don't by chance have a D1 with a thule bar + wire mesh roof rack do you?

Question Off Topic Need

Working my "Honey Do List" and can no longer avoid task of tiling the kitchen floor. Does anyone, by the off chance, have a tile wet saw I could borrow for a few days?

I'm in. I should be there around 6ish. I thought I brought enough 80 weather to last until Thursday, but ran out. At least it's not raining.

Will bring your heavy-ass motor .

I'm picking Briggs up from the metro around 6 and then heading over from there. Doug, if you get in town early and want to pop over my place I'll be here. Let me know if you still have the address/etc.

So I left the house, got in the truck and was about to drive in to the office when nature called. Knowing I couldn't pack a deuce all the way to CapHill, I ran in to the house to do my business. Fast forward to the parking garage here at my office and...where my wallet?!?!!
Apparently it fell out of my trousers when I was on the pot and I didn't notice. Now I'm gonna have to scab a twenty off someone for the parking, scoot back home to get my wally and then hit the beltway. That sucks. I usually take Metro to work, and drove today only cz it's NoVA HH so I'm rather mad that I am on the hook for the parking and gas for nothing.
