Not trying to exclude yes when Jimmy is here. Sounded like most were out for Kilroys and Jimmy and I are meeting anyways, so why not try and have a happy hour still, even if it's a small one.

If I can get home early, I will try to make Wednesday at Jay's.

I'm going to have to see what the snow situation is looking like tomorrow. I might end up heading home earlier than expected because I don't want to be stuck in snow storm traffic on I95. My other option would be to just stay at my cousins apartment tomorrow night also, since she lives about a mile from Jay's. I'm going to just play it by ear tomorrow..

I think the snow is going to start later in the day but it's probably a wise move to beat it. Let us know what you decide tomorrow. I'm playing it by ear as well.

I think I'm going to have to skip out on happy hour because of the snow. I'm going to try to get back to Richmond before it really starts coming down.

... if only we were a group of burly men with tough go-anywhere vehicles that would scoff at weather of any sort.....

(... of course I am out - I am making last minute preparations for the long drive north - Winter Romp style!!!)

PS: Remember to dig out your fire hydrant in the morning!!

...but if people drive their manly go anywhere epitome of mechanical prowess they would encounter salt covered roads which causes crossmembers to rot away instantly; its almost as frowned up on as not changing out your oil lines or not having boost lug nuts to match your boost wheels.

Jimmy, it was nice to meet you today. Thanks for giving my LR3 the once over and for the t/c fluid. Next stop Lav's then Bradford's. Rover parts are in circulation. LOL
Have a epic x-country trip next month.

Have a safe trip. I am almost assured to have the day off tomorrow so I think I'll put in a few extra hours today anyway so just as well.

Likewise! I ended up leaving the wheels at Jason's and then headed home. It started snowing just after Fredericksburg, but it wasn't too bad of a drive.

I wouldn't say I'm burly, and I was driving a Range Rover... In all seriousness, I just didn't want to be driving 15mph all the way back to Richmond dodging a bunch of Toyota Yaris turds with bald tires in the snow.

And Brad just left with the wheels now! Got a chance to look his 90 over as well, man is that thing clean.

Jimmy - nice meeting you as well, as with Russell I'm looking forward to getting the updates on your x-country trip next month. And also like Russell, thanks for the tcase fluid!

Are people still going to HH this coming Thursday (2/20)? If so, where? Being new to the NoVA area I'd love to make it out.

Yes this Thursday...come on out! The skinny:

- It generally runs from 5pm-11pm (or so)...but come whatever time.
- It's at Kilroys Pub, 5250 Port Royal Rd, Springfield, VA 22151.
- One thing I'll mention, when you come into Kilroys it's sort of in a strip mall-ish environment. To the far left there's a side road that'll lead you into the back parking lot - that's where we all park, as far to the back as you can get against the tree line and you'll see all the D's lined up. We then use the back entrance (by the deck) to Kilroys, and we are all actually for the most part on that outside deck (which has canvas sides and is enclosed this time of year).
