Is Julian selling this rig after they are done with the rally? It could be titled in Maryland as a street rod, since it was made for a race.

It would save a ton of build time for me.

David, the official July HH is next week. Thursday I think. You have not missed it yet. The Julian thing was a one off due to the Special Guest Star appearance (the 110 specifically).

The schedule is on page 15 of this sticky.

Can anyone recommend a good radiator shop in NOVA? Looking for someone to pressure test, flow test and close up a leak or two. Thanks.

these guys have rebuilt several for me including the current one in the disco. Usually a 1 day turnaround and relatively inexpensive. Most importantly, I haven't had to take a radiator back to them. They'll also install drain valves and do other custom work if you choose.

thanks Tony. how's their cost? i used a shop out in Sterling a few years ago and the radiator that shop "fixed" started leaking again within a few months. think it ran me around $75-$100.

I think that the price last year to go through the disco radiator, test it, rod it, and install a drain plug was $150-$175, but don't hold me to it. I know it was a lot less than a new one and it works . . .

Check with Rover Guy first. He usually has good rads for far less than a repair. My experience with shops has been that they tend to want to sell you a new one rather than rebuild an old one.

yep, had already checked with Will, he has no used ones in at the moment. actually did find a used one, put it in last night, but this one still has a small leak. So I have two radiators sitting in my garage, one from my '95 Disco and one from brother's '95 RRC. Figured if I could find a good shop, could have them both fixed to "like new" status and keep one in reserve and put the other good one in place of the currently leaking one.

Why not go with Tony's suggestion?

I would go with Tony's suggestion, move from a 3 row to 5 row when they recore and have a drain peacock installed.
