I'm pretty sure they are RTE. large amount of movement is an understatement! The only thing faster than billy on the course was his rear spring. It popped out and passed him about half way through his practice lap.

great moment. Jonesy dubbed me led foot larry. like a little kid, i looked right doug, jonesy and justin for facial expression confirmation on whether or not i should freak out about the spring falling out. 20 min fix and i was out of there.

I was referring to forward movement, as in the axle not remaining parallel with the front. But yes, lots of articulation too.

Where is this video? No surprise on the spring falling out - shoddy work by an aussie I was told. LOL

Yeah yeah - Blame it on the Aussie, who happened to be on the other side of the truck - the side that didn't lose the retainer.

I do recall Billy allowing all blame to fall to me while he was standing on top of his truck with Doug comparing their new Suunto watches - that Billy couldn't figure out how to get on the right time - and Doug couldn't tell military time. It was a pretty bloody funny weekend when you asked one of them what time it was!!!!! - LOL

I had to snap this picture of the two of them while James & Justin from Lucky8 replaced 1 bolt with 3

Hey ahhhh Doug what time ya got? ... Dunno - but what does the top left button do if you push it twice...

Finally -- in town for this one. To most with options, roll w/ your Defender so we can squelch that NYC crowd.

Holy shit...now that is funny. They are one step from being fighter pilots with those big ass watches and no idea what all the stuff does. Necessary equipment for Overlanding though!

Now that is funny...it's cold...do we want to take best on how many D's show up? NY has nothing to talk about after ROTR anyway..

I'll be in the series unless given sufficient notice to bring the defender.

Well I likewise was going to be Defender-less, starter is being replaced under warranty but haven't received a new one yet. And since it's such a pain in the arse to replace don't feel like putting my spare in just to yank it. UNLESS we've got enough for a big photo op...in which case I'll wrench tonight.

With a lot of logistical help I can contribute three 110's and two 90's towards the cause this month.

i'll post the vid. here's a good pic of the after... Coincidently, we've named Church, "The Church of the Golden Spring".

by the way...prob the best vid of the weekend was when I gave Jonesy the Go Pro cam to record me. no monitor on that camera so you just kind of have to point it at the subject and know its getting the footage. Brother Jonesy had the cam backwards and recorded himself for the first 2 runs I had. This was that water alley not too far off the beginning of the trails. First thing I did (or ever had done as far as wheeling). Doug and Jonesy said I rolled thru that thing at about 30 mph. great reacts! going to put together a bigger vid and definitely incorporate this in there.

Clay, not worth the effort unless we get a strong showing in general. Bring that purdy tan 110!

Love the video!!!! Beats any of my wheeling videos that's for sure!!! Way to go Jonesy!!!!

------ Follow up post added November 20th, 2013 09:06 AM ------

I can do D90, D1 or LR3.... Need advance notice so I can steer the kids toward the right choice tomorrow morning.... They've asked for the D90 for the past 2(3?) weeks, so chances are high, but I like to take calculated chances!
