Any of you guys want a set of roof rails and cross bars for a ('03-'12) Range Rover? I have a set at the shop that I was saving and don't really need. One rail is missing an end cap and the four allen or torn head bolts that hold it to the vehicle are missing (easily sourced locally). I also don't have the keys, but you can get them from Land Rover IIRC. They take about ten minutes to install on the vehicle. Free for whoever wants them. I figured I'd post here since you guys are pretty close to richmond and I don't want to ship them.

ALL NOVA:

My good friend and author (http://www.jhcunningham.com/fiction.php) is having a book signing of his latest book in Leesburg on Nov 1 - see Facebook event - Signing of New Book CRYSTAL BLUE at Shoe’s Cup & Cork in Leesburg on November 1

It is at another buddies restaurant - and a great venue!!

John used my Series 11a as "the car" for his lead character in the books - they are a great adventure read about Pirates, Land Rovers, Planes and the Carribean....

I encourage all to stop by - pick up a book or two and get them signed!!

Big Up's to the NOVA Church Crew

Big weekend at Rovers on the Rocks up at Rausch Creek!
Thought I'd share with the group the work that was put into my 96 Disco in preparation of this trip, by what many of you know as "The Church Group" because wrenching takes place at Pastor Huff's house on Sundays. Huff, Galpin, Jonesy, Stephens, Kang, Lav, Ray were instrumental in helping me to get this thing ready for the trip. Bought up in Maine just in Sept, all this truck had were 285 (old) super swampers, GBR 443 Gearing and Detroit rear lockers. In 3 or 4 marathon Sunday Church sessions, we got:
Lelo Fab fabricated Rock Sliders
heavy duty trailing arms
new steerting linkage
steering guard
diff guards
gas tank guard
fox shocks
rte springs
rte rear bumper
snorkel
black wolf steelies & 315 75 16 Mud Grapplers

Needless to say, it was all worth the time and effort and the help I got with all this was awesome! Big thank you's to you's guys. Not only was that my first time out and I'm fully addicted (but no, the Defender will still NEVER get wheeled!) and I didnt break anything, but I managed to take first place in the Lucky 8 competition. The only mishap was on my practice run, a rear spring just fell out. quick fix... All in all, a great weekend and the truck got a lot of compliments on how good it looked. I gave/give full credit to the guys that helped me get it all ready.

Attached is the before and after. Enjoy and I look forward to the next "Church" outing... although, I'm pretty sure my wife will shut that down for a couple of weeks...

Tough looking truck, Billy! You may have room for one more Rover in that driveway! Are you bringing it to Happy Hour Thursday?

Jeff, actually bought it that way. Boosts are long sold, replaced by freestyles i had powdercoated black. Way to immaculate to wheel. the disco is the beater!

Speaking of HH...is there one this week? If I make it, I'll be rather late but figured it best to confirm that it is still on.

What kind of trailing arms are you using? I watched a video of your truck and you were getting a huge amount of movement on the axle.
