I have an 830am flight out of DCA. Sounds super fun trying to stumble out of the Cove at 4am to catch a 17 hour flight.

Agreed that doesn't sound like fun. Definitely a major fail on the planning.

I was thinking I might ease out to the Cove and drink a beer with your lads late Thursday night and then just drive home and go to work on Friday. Couldn't you do that Wolf? ... and who cares if you are tired on the flight - what else are you going to do for the 17 hours...?

(This is jeering coming from somone who has made one HH this calendar year - so I know what my opinion is worth... )

Dave - who are you camping with at the Cove?

The keg we get will be open to all on Thursday HH....

Looks like I will have a nice awning for us to cook under vs a tarp between trees to catch all the falling acorns!

I'd consider doing it and crashing at your place Dave - if I was flying out of Dulles. But fighting rush hour in to DCA Friday morning is a like kick in the jimmy.

Agreed. Although I'm assured right of way on the days I drive the 90 in.

Kind of an odd request... I'm looking to drive down on Thursday, and hopefully catch a ride with someone to Arlington on Sunday, or close to Dulles to catch a flight back to Vermont on Sunday night/ Monday. This would be back from Conclave.

The other part of that is, I'm looking for somewhere to leave my Rover. Maybe someone with plenty of property who could store it for a couple weeks until I come back down for MAR. I'd be happy to let you use it if needed, and I will happily reward whoever can do it.

Thanks!
Zack

Zack-
Per the flip suggestion on Dweb, I can likely help facilitate if needed on the back end, a good friend (and fellow Rover owner/VOT participant/etc) has a place fairly close to Dulles where your truck would be in good company. I live in Alexandria so DCA is much easier to make happen than IAD but either could be managed if necessary.

Several of the other folks around here might chime in-particularly if they're also going to MAR (I'm likely out for that).

We'll figure something out, if all else falls through I got you.

Tony and Ray know how to get hold of me if needed, but I live right by Dulles and have room to park your truck if needed. I'll be going to both the conclave and MAR as well.

You are welcome to leave it at my office in Silver Spring and catch the metro to the Airport or if you prefer, my house and fly out of BWI ( I will take you to the BWI once you drop the Truck )

Unless the other offers suit you better
