Are we thinking about another Thursday night for Doug or back to Friday?

Dates, subject to change

This is from earlier this year. These are all Fridays. Subtract 1 day from each for Thursday. Thursday seems to be more popular. At least with Doug...

Proposed Calendar for 2010:
3/19
4/23
5/21
6/18
7/23
8/20
9/17
MAR?
10/22
11/19
12/17
1/21/11

Its certainly open for debate, but having it earlier in the week will certainly help ensure more parking and open tables.

It's mostly no problem for me either way so I'm in favor of Thursdays if it helps participation and comfort. The next one (6/17) may be an issue for me depending on when my daughter's school function is that day.

I am not 100% sure but I think my daughters "promotion" ceremony is in the evening, in which case I am out.

Should we have everyone sound off for the 17th vs 18th? I know that Jonathan said he can't make the 17th either and we were moving to Thursdays mostly for Doug...Doug, are you coming? I'm open either night and am all for having it when we can get the best turn out and the most trucks in the parking lot!

Actually it looks like the 17th is ok for me, but the 18th would be bad.

Actually if we do it on a Thurs you'll be ok w/ parking...I was there around 5:30pm last time we did it on Thurs and got a spot and there was still parking at 6pm. However, if we do it Fri then the lot fills up way early, like by 5 it's packed. Since I think we're going w/ Thurs you should be ok @ 6/1800.

I appreciate the sentiment- not sure if I can make the 17th yet. We should definately plan something for the first week of July. Daniel and Julian will be over from the UK (land the 2nd @ Dulles) with a highly modified 110-resplendant with a Union Jack covering the entire roof. The truck goes like "shite off a shovel" per Julian. They will be contestants in this years Bull Run Rally from NY>Vegas and are shacking up with me for a few days before the festivities start. Event organizers advised them to allot $1000 a day for speeding tickets/bail/attys-may as well start in Arlington....

To that end....still lots of room for sponsor stickers.
