From Silver Spring you don't need to go anywhere near the beltway or 66, fuck that. Take 16th St. south through the city, right on I St, left on 19th right on E and hop on the E St. Expwy/Roosevelt Bridge/Lee Hwy westbound (2nd exit) Lots of lights but you won't have too much traffic. If you are good at navigating you can go E St./Roosevelt Bridge/GW Parkway/Spout Run/Lorcom La/Lee Hwy that would speed things up a bit and let you skip most of Lee hwy. Or you could take 50 to 7 if you feel you must go through 7 corners.

16th should move pretty good at that time as traffic is going out of the city not in. You might run into a short backup on GW but it shouldn't be too bad since you are exiting right after Roosevelt island.

But, wouldn't expect the bumpkins here to be able to figure all that out. So...

now that is funny! you will be traveling about 5mph from Tysons to 66 and that is around 3 miles alone...you do the math!

Just need to swap a defective valve in my hi side AC fitting. It's pretty deep in there. I can turn it with two small screwdrivers, but need to torque it.

Anyone in the NOVA crew need/want a Kobalt 30gal air compressor? It stopped working and it's either the motor or pressure switch. $50 and you come get it. Still in great condition otherwise.

Our next HH is scehduled for Thursday, Sep 20. This is the Thursday of the Conclave.

Are we keeping HH per normal or moving it to accomondate the Conclave?

(If you move it to the 13th or the 27th then I can make it. .... just sayin')

Hence the keg/s at our camp spot. It looks like a lot of us will be collocated on Thur night. For once we don't need to worry about booze cruisers on the way home!!!!

Ok here is my contribution to HH tonight. I know you all must have had an awesome day. Hope you'll continue tomorrow.
Lots a rivets installing and door skinning going on here at the barn today along with some sexy galv rostyle action.
Had two eagles overhead all day, and now the horned owls have gotten going. Cheers.
