Just getting from my house on to 95 is a pain in the ass. And it's only 4 miles.

Yowsers. You could always take the afternoon off. Cruise down to the mall and check out the hotties, catch a museum, get a head start on drinking.

I haven't had a drink in about 6 months. If I got a head start, you guys would likely find me passed out on the floor when you get there.

You. Or is this your chance to back out on the "oh it really runs" scam you are trying to pull?

Dave has a stick but it's a '84 and not sure what kind of tranny (and I suspect he would have chimed in already)

Dave's truck has an r380 5 speed but ti will not be a good comparison since it is a TDi. Also, it will not be there tonight, had to drive my "real car."

No need to ship.

But you should consider coming as a shakedown run for your truck. If you can't make it to HH, how's it going to make it to Canada?
