Welcome to the forum Blake

Someone just needs to suggest a date.

You also need to suggest a place. But the truth is if you pick a place people don't know about/that's not aligned with the current mood/does not offer the necessary accomodations, then not that many people show up.
Some for the date, you have to pick a date where folks can make it (i.e. not during baby duties, etc).

Anyway, good luck! :D

Me, I try to make it when someone propose a date and a location! ;-)

Thanks Charles, got the suggestion to join up here from Tony Brooks, who also mentioned the happy hour at Jay's to me, which I could not attend due to conflicting plans and short notice.

As far as suggesting a place, I'll leave that up to you all, seeing as I don't hang out in NOVA too much and most everyone seems to be from there. I'm just more then willing to attend the next one.

Jay's! Now that the weather is getting better the porch will suffice nicely. I am still partial to Rockland's BBQ which has picnic style tables out back, but unfortunately a poor beer selection.

Yes we usually do Jays (but there is interest in having it further west).

Seems someone needs to throw out a day. Without checking with the boss to see if I am free, how about the 20th?

LOL. It must have been. I think the 20th is a very good idea. I'll save Bill the trouble and remind you that 4 posts up he explains Fridays are bad for him

Ugh -- how about Thursday the 19th then? Have been to the midwest twice so far this week, done 6 flight segments, been up before 5 twice, done 600 driving miles and a bunch of very long meetings.

Oh listen to the big man. He gets his truck out on the trail for it's yearly trip, and now he's razzing me for saving money on gas

Now that the UJ isn't an oval anymore I can drive myself. Untill something else breaks.
