Oh, I know you guys are not going to be at Jay's by then but, maybe some people will go somewhere else other then home to hang out and have more drinks.

I got another Weimaraner. I had one growing up so this is my second one.. I really would have gotten another Pittbull ( which was my last dog ) but, I just didn't want to deal with the stigma that comes along with owning that breed any more. They are great dogs that just get stuck with the wrong owners these days.. So I adopted a 6 month old Weim from the DC Weim Club's rescue. So far he's a great dog. I got lucky that I got such a young dog, even more so that they had all of the dogs paperwork (AKC, Medical, Micro Chip, etc.) and every thing was up to date when I got him. I was going to get a puppy and was putting myself on the waiting list with two breeders when I saw the rescue ad. So I went that route instead. Plus, I didn't have to potty train him. Here's two pics from when I first got him.. I wish I had my camera on me when we were at Lake Anna the week before last when he decided he was going to get a duck. Damn dog swam some 200 plus yards out in the lake just following after the ducks. I thought the dog was going to swim after those ducks till he drowned. I'm just glad they finally took off and flew away so that he turned around and swam back to me. This Weim has a much stronger prey drive then my first one so it's going to take a lot of work getting him to listen to me when there are fury or feathered things around. That's a good thing though since I plan on training him for birds both field and water.. Well at least once he gets better at some of the basics..

Ah..... So you're the one that made me miss the recent Happy Hours..... Man, I rely on the email notification since I can't seem to find much time checking out my favorite web sites.
You should put a reference to this new thread in the old thread.
