Hey gals and guys,

This is a reminder for tomorrow's run at GWNF.

want to get a snack, fuel, chit-chat, etc.

Will likely be going up to flagpole knob/meadow knob, and picking up trash along the way (saw lots last weekend). Picnic lunch on the mountain

Please let Pedro or I know if you are coming, and where you will be meeting us.

Dan, as I said in my PM I don't think you need to leave before 7am. It should take less than an hour to get out to manassas on rt 66 on a Sunday morning.

Have fun up there tommorrow, if I were in the country I would join you.
If you run up FR225 (Union Springs) to Stone Camp, please stay out of the mud holes at the start of Stone Camp on the Union Springs side. The head ranger is talking about closing the trail because of the damage done there.

The hill cliimb in the last post is off limits. Mike, the last area ranger is retiring, from what I hear, the new ranger (haven't met him yet) is a real ball buster.
Please be careful where you go or the next time you come out you may run into more gates or recieve a healthy ticket.

Blame me, as I didn't know it was off-limits and I led the ride. I'll look into what we can do to make sure there is proper signage (or properly blocked off). We obviously don't intend to wheel where we shouldn't, and it shouldn't be a guessing game.

I had a great time too. My pictures are here:
