Ok, I'll do those first thing Saturday to make sure I'm done. I'll be here Sunday, just having family over.

If anyone wants to join in Saturday morning, I'll also be replacing my rear trailing arms, drag link, tie rod and trying to adjust my steering box and get my alignment right and steering wheel centered.

would love to Charles, but have some work I need to get done myself Saturday morning and then busy with family from noon on. actually plan to get the truck inspected first thing Saturday morning. speaking of which, anyone recommend a "good" safety inspector in the nova area? last year when i had it inspected, i was down in Louisa, VA. verrry easy inspection and no questions at all about my little creation.

Yeah I have just the place for you. Head west on Rt50, cross Rt28, and take a left at the street with the U-Haul on the corner. I don't recall the name. If you take that road a short way just before it curves left you take a right into the industrial park and you'll see 2 automotive shops on the left. One is Hi-tech and the other is "Advanced Auto" or something to that effect to the right of High Tech. They (the advanced auto place) do very easy inspections.

Reminds me I need to get mine inspected this month too

Tony, I did the bushings today so the press is available whenever. I'll be home most of the day and when not, Donna should be.

Greg, you going to dunk the 101 in wd40 and take her for a nice long ride out to the 'burbs? It should do her good.

Loic, did you figure out a ride?

Robbie, did advanced take care of you? I need to visit them this week

No, did not figure out a ride. But I did figure out last night on my way from Advanced Auto Parts that my inspection stickers read "valid until 02/07"..... So the D is grounded until Saturday morning when I'll take it to the local garage to get a new shinny sticker.
I can't believe how I missed that one! And of course.... I drove it a few times since February.....

they sure did. no problem at all. probably should've brought a dozen or two donuts into the shop for the morning and made it even easier. but as it was he let a few things slide and i gave him a few extra bucks for his time. thanks for the recommendation.

fully legal and ready for trip down to MAR.

Sounds like a great idea.

Tony, you want to be my "crew-chief", I mean "co-pilot".

He came and got it yesterday. He came in some guy's jeep - said it was a better option than "that FC deathtrap" as he put it.

j/k. He did come, but we squeezed it into his Audi.

Sorry about that lack of communication, was in the middle of a day full of errands, so I just gambled on being able to fit it into the audi -- amazing how much those things hold!
