Loic-
Thanks for posting that...I was offline all morning and then the nightmare scenario we were discussing last night happened when I got back to the office-the IT folks took the internet down for the afternoon!
Ken-
That's the video...

Last night was cool, def nice now that the weather is improving, I hope the higher calculus for paying the bill was eventually solved since our waiter was no help at all. The QD was good in terms of food but I have to say that compared to the relative cost of Jay's for drinks it doesn't measure up...but you guys know I'm biased.

No I agree. Especially with the good weather so we can sit outside, there is no reason not to do Jays.

The math was brutal but we finally sorted it out as a team effort.

I am for going back to Jays as well. The QD cheeseburgers weren't very good...

the good news for me was that the bad shrimp I ate appeared to have been neutralized by the beers. Good times, glad everyone made it . . . ahem DougandGreg ahem . . .

Ya, but, don't get the loaded crab potato skins at Jay's no matter how good that sounds after a bunch of beers.. Trust me on that one..

I went against my rule of not eating seafood at places like that and I paid.. Never again.

Good god...I had no idea Jay's had seafood...the horror!

I'm happy sticking with the quesadilla along with the nachos.
Looking forward to the next one!

hope they weren't bad since I ate at least six of them...anyway I seem to have pulled through ok

AFAIK quarterdeck's only appeal is that it has outdoor seating and crabs. So if we aren't doing crabs, then there is little point in going.

It went great. Gave a whole new meaning to the term: roll on, roll off.

Good thing it was basically down-hill, both ways! Jim rode in the 101 to make sure it stayed put.

Thanks again for your help, Greg!

Now if he could only get it running, we wouldn't have this problem.

With sufficient planning I think a wrenching party would be well attended.

Or my place if you want to do it under cover (and we can knock it out in a weekend - I can't have Janey dripping on my driveway for long )

Er wait. Let me get my D90 back on wheels before committing to helping on any projects.

Let's just not call it a "Happy Hour." Neither happy, nor just an hour. How about "knuckle bustin' day long project that will actually take several weeks"?

Grumpy. I'm assuming you really mean that we shouldn't call it a "Party", but I still will
