Morris Mountain/Chocolocco Mountain

Is anyone interested getting together for a ride at either Morris Mountain (Heflin, AL) or Chocolocco Mountain (Jacksonville, AL) off road parks later this month? Each are a little over an hour west of Atlanta on I-20. I went to Chocolocco several years ago in my Disco and had a great time. There is some buggy stuff but plenty of other moderate/difficult trails. Never been to Morris Mountain so maybe someone else can chime in. It looks like Morris Mountain is open the 2nd and 4th weekends of the month and Chocolocco is open every weekend. I've been getting the itch to stretch the legs on the 90 without traveling too far and wanted to see if there was any interest out there

I think Chocolocco is famous for having nearly 1,000 feet of elevation changes, it's about 2,000 acres, & it borders a national park.

Sounds good Kevin. Reason we're pushing it off till then is that I will be out of my current job and will have had time to wrench. Should have the taillight set ready for you as well. We were thinking Morris Mountain.

Sounds like a plan Sam. Let me know if you need a hand with the lockers or suspension
