It doesn't look like I'm going to make it either, I have to much going on right now, college sucks, but I hope everyone who is going has a good time.

Ken, make sure to keep Zach clear whenever Mike starts to spin those 35s

Just to set things clear with everyone:

1. No dogs were injured in the making of the Paragon trip.
2. Zach likes the mud. (You should have seen him rolling in the mud puddles before he went to bed or before jumping in Ken’s seat).
3. I have no control over the mud coming off of my spinning tires (although it would be cool).
4. I anticipate some mud at MAR so it should be noted to stay at least 5 feet from my spinning tires.

Thumbs down Jorge, we're in the same boat...

I have to go to work this weekend. I already sent in my registration so I guess that's $65 bucks wasted right there. We installed a phone system this weekend, worked fine through Monday night, then Tuesday everything turned to $hit! So now, we need another weekend to "make things right" and it has to be this weekend. Damn work starting to get in the way too much....

ah ha! Thanks to all for the coaching on the attachments...

A pic of the concrete bridge from last Saturday...

Glenn, it sucks that you won't be able to come. Just wondering, but could you transfer your registration to MAR to one of the other guys and they pay you back so you're not out the $65?? Just wondering.

Dave, I turned on my email-thing. Mike, you want to email me your number too if you're not driving with Dave?

It seems that I'll be the first in this group to arrive. Leaving DC area at about noon, so at MAR at 4-ish.

I'll try to get a spot on the island, turning left once you get on. I hear the island is off-limits still, because of the rain, but folks are going to check it out this afternoon, tomorrow.

If the island remains closed, I'll get a spot on the hill, just before and to the right of the registration tent (presumings it's all set up just like last year).

Red 94 ST with a tire on the bonnet. If I'm out wheeling, you can recognize the site by my tent (a blue and white Kelty) and an American flag in the ground by the road.

If anyone else wants to email me their cell number, I'll call you once I get the place figured out. I think that we're looking at 5 trucks (Dave, Kearny, Mike, Kieffffffffffff, and me).

I'd suggest bringing firewood if you have some around the house. I'm sure Dave will have tables, chairs, and big screen TV with satellite. It seems that he's got Boy Scout medals for being prepared for just about everything!

See ya there!!!

Ken I have no cell. Depending on when I leave I may get there ahead of you. Is there anything I should know about picking a camp site or should I pick one closest to a power plant for all of Dave's stuff. Or maybe near a big mud puddle for Zach!

No special instructions needed Mike. You saw all of Dave's "requirements"...

I think that my description should be good enough to orient you when you arrive. It'll make sense once you see it. (I think)

How about monitor CH 10 once you get close? There may be some DiscoWeb guys on that channel too.

This is my first MAR. Not really sure what to expect. I'll keep an eye out for the flag on the hill. Mine is a Red 94 ST with rack.

Ken,

I think that's a great idea using my registration for someone else. I just don't know how that would work with the MAR folks. If you can, by all means do it. I'd rather have someone use it than go to waste. Just let me know how it turned out. Have fun guys!!!!

Wow. You come prepared to one event and you labeled a "boy scout"....

Last time I'll step into a mud hole to hook someone up for a pull!

Dave I'll always be grateful for your help, that could have easly turned into a very expensive disaster (believe me I know, see J.E. Robison mud run ).You are a very prepared person ( fuel filter at Bill Burke Off road event ).All above is stated as a compliment,by the way nice rubber boots. To all attending enjoy, hope to make it next year.

We'll definitely have to go next year Randy.... I had a blast last year and really feel bummed that I can't make it this year.

I definitely have to pay you a visit one of these days, it's a shame that we're probably not even a mile away and I haven't seen your 90 build up. I gotta see that "monster garage" with the 2 90s being transformed!!! Talk to you soon!

Ken, I don't know if you'll still see this, but let me know if you can use my registration.

Glenn

Thanks Jorge...

I was only kidding. Funny thing is, I was kicked out of the cub scouts at an early age (not even a boy scout). My parents were ashamed .

Anyway, I like to be prepared no matter what I do. Stems from a climbers background I guess.

We'll miss you this weekend, but I'm sure we can get another trip going soon, before the snow hits.

Cheers!

Glenn, Thanks for the offer on the MAR registration, but I registered by mail too. Perhaps one of the other guys on the list could use it.

Dave, I'm glad that you know it's all in jest and most certainly a compliment! We should all be as prepared and keep our rubbers handy.

See you all this eve. I'll post pics when I get back.

Let's start planning the next trip together. Someplace between DC and Mass?
