Not sure what you are looking for in an event, but in a word yes.

I value the social aspect of the MAR more than the actual wheeling, but it should be fun wheeling nevertheless. The trail rides will be mild enough that you won't risk hurting your pansy D90 which I know is important to you :D

Seriously, it's close enough that if you decided you didn't like it, you could bail anytime and not be a big deal. Come have a few beers, drool over some rigs, etc.

Definately worth it, but you'll hate to leave.

Sadly, I HAVE TO leave Saturday. I am a slave to the US Marine Corps.

We did manage to create three large hill climbs with one of those hard enough that nobody made it to the top with out the winch. four other hill climbs are a lot shorter with one being very very steep. You also have an bottomless mud bog on one of the trails. It was passable at first but now? So far it has blown a bead and sacrificed a CV. If you choose to do the dam crossing it might be a challenge to make it out. A couple of the trails are a steering challenge. Pull in your mirrors or the tree will take them for you.
So come to MAR for the event but be ready to wheel. Some of the trails are not for the faint of heart.
