I can make you a set, but it might be cheaper just to order a $300 pair from RN or AB, or even DAP.

I am trying to make it to MAR, but it always seems to fall on my military reserve duty weekend, as is the case this year....again.

Not sure if everyone's been following the ROAV forum but I posted up a draft trail map there:
http://roav.org/ForumsPro/download/id=98.html
Bear in mind it's very much a draft, but hopefully it gives some sense of what's there. Tony's been down there with me a few weekends ago so he can relate too. I posted some comments on Dweb about it as well but, unsuprisingly, it's down.
Let me know if you have any questions, I've been doing most of the recon/mapping/etc, and between Chuck and I we pretty much know what the property has in store for everyone as well as where we're going with the next few work weekends.

I went on all the trails at MAR last year with my LWB tent. I liked it too much as a tent to bring the 90.

Ray, do share the Google Map link so we can see the map evolve "real time"!

Can't we do this in the NOrtheast!? I guess MAR wouldn't really work then.

Loic-
I'm working on it--the GM's that I've got are either cartoonish b/c they lack real fidelity-or problematic b/c the gpx ->kml switchover has turned out badly. Google Earth, on the other hand, is working out rather well. I should have a good clean map after next weekend (assuming I don't totally thrash my truck, again, this time).

All-
A follow up to give everyone a sense of what's going on. Rather than re-type the update novel that I put on the ROAV forum, take a look here: http://www.roav.org/ForumsPro/viewto.../start=75.html
when you get the chance.
I'm still working on a decent Google Maps hanging map. I can get the GPX & KML versions so that Google Earth and the like can manipulate them well-the GM is just being clumsy.

Regardless, the property is shaping up rather nicely and the event is still a few weeks out. If anyone wants to get a sneak preview, the last work weekend is in just a few days.

Not sure. In the past there has always been somewhere close to park for anyone who isn't registering their vehicle, but riding passenger, and trailers etc.

I think I can make it down Thursday and Friday, and depart early Saturday morning. Having never been to MAR, is it still worth it to go?
